Superintendent Kicks Off Teacher Appreciation Week
It’s national Teacher Appreciation Week, and Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis kicked off the occasion at Cherokee High School this morning! A former high school chemistry teacher, Mary Elizabeth surprised chemistry teacher Tracie Johnson with a hot coffee and croissant, a gift bag and her time to serve as a lab assistant. Mary Elizabeth donned a lab coat and safety glasses to help students with lab work and to show her support for the important work CCSD’s teachers do every day. #CCSDfam #ThankATeacher
