National School Custodian Day Spotlight: David Loudermilk of Cherokee HS!
In honor of National School Custodian Day, this week we’re recognizing one of our high school head custodians each day. Please join us in thanking them for all they do to keep our schools safe and clean for our students, teachers and staff, volunteers, and visitors! #CCSDElevateTheExcellence #ThankACustodian
Thank you to Cherokee High School Head Custodian David Loudermilk!
This is his first year as a CCSD school custodian.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
“The thing I enjoy the most about my role is the appreciation I get from the staff,” he said. “My team has improved the school’s facilities, and it never goes unnoticed by the staff at CHS.”
How does he elevate the excellence at Cherokee HS?
“David works tirelessly to ensure that our school is clean and orderly, and he takes pride in making our school the best it can be for our students and staff,” Principal Andy Hall said. “David was a firefighter for many years prior to joining us at CHS, and his dedication to our community speaks to his character. He is truly a great Cherokee Warrior!”
