CCSD Students Selected for Atlanta High School Art Exhibition

CCSD Students Selected for Atlanta High School Art Exhibition

Six Cherokee County School District student artists were selected for the prestigious Atlanta High School Art Exhibition!

Arts Festival of Atlanta presents the annual juried show at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival in April to recognize and encourage high school student artists from 18 metro Atlanta counties.

It is considered one of the most competitive art shows in the state, with more than 800 entries received annually, and only about 200 pieces selected for exhibit.  The artwork also is judged for the opportunity to earn additional recognition and prizes.

Cherokee High School sophomore Grace Dai earned additional recognition with an Honorable Mention award from the Georgia Watercolor Society for her entry titled “Mirrorball.”  She is a student of Cherokee HS visual arts teacher Morgan Clifton.
