CCSD Recruitment Ambassadors Support New Teacher Hiring

Teacher hiring season kicks off in March, and the Cherokee County School District’s Recruitment Ambassadors play an important role in the mission of becoming the highest performing school district in Georgia.

Made up of outstanding educators from across the school district, the team assists with district recruitment events like the CCSD Job Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 1, at River Ridge High School, as well as at community and college job fairs.  In addition to engaging with candidates at in-person job fairs, ambassadors also follow up to answer candidates’ additional questions after events.

Ambassadors represent different grade levels, subject areas, school innovation zones, years of experience and personal backgrounds, so they can provide a broad range of unique and valued perspectives.  The talent of our teachers is unparalleled and their dedication to go the extra mile is unmatched!
