CCSD Recognizes Athletes of the Month in December
The Cherokee County School District is continuing a new monthly recognition for outstanding high school athletes.
This fall, CCSD kicked off recognizing a Female Athlete of the Month and Male Athlete of the Month.
Congratulations to this month’s winners: Elizabeth Waller of Cherokee High School for flag football, whose head coach is Tom Stringfellow, and Will Rajecki of Sequoyah High School for football, whose head coach is James Teter.
Outstanding student athletes are nominated by their high schools, and a committee selects an overall winner. The winners receive a T-shirt sponsored by BSN, a certificate and recognition on CCSD’s athletics website and social media.
