CCSD Recognizes Athletes of the Month for November
The Cherokee County School District recognizes two outstanding high school student athletes each month.
Congratulations to this month’s winners: Female Athlete of the Month, Gracie Mayo of Cherokee High School for flag football, whose head coach is Tom Stringfellow; and Male Athlete of the Month, Mason Thomas of Sequoyah High School for swimming, whose head coach is Cora Hodgins.

Athletes are nominated by their high schools, and a committee selects an overall winner. Congratulations to the honorees and their coaches and thank you to award sponsor, BSN, and to our School Board for its laser focus on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else!
