This senior recognition is a separate honor from the Hall of Fame’s annual induction of individuals who have distinguished themselves over many years in the field of athletics in Cherokee County.  This year’s Hall of Fame Class of 2024 includes Woodstock High School graduate and professional baseball player Nick Markakis and Sequoyah High School graduate and softball player Mimi Veach.  CCSD Transition Academy student and Special Olympics international medalist Caleb Guy and the 1965 Cherokee High School basketball team will receive special recognitions as well.

They will be honored at the annual Hall of Fame Enshrinement Banquet at 6 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Woodstock City Church.  Information and tickets: https://ccshof.net/
