Beat Out Cancer All Jay Huller Every other Wednesday at 8:00   To raise money for cancer research at The Dana Farver Cancer Institute through various fundraisers in the community

Cherokee Speech and Debate All Jamie Wills & Colton Major Mondays 3:45 - 5:00   The Cherokee Speech and Debate  team provides opportunities for students to compete in forensics activities to enhance their understanding and practice of effective communication skills
Cherokee Warriors MTB ALL Brad Ellis T, W, TH evenings at 6 pm at Blankets Creek of Rope Mill   To provide skilled, intentional training for mountain bike riding and racing
Chess Club ALL Anne Nechvatal & Earl Pinkett Wednesday 3:30 - 4:30    Social, improve logic & strategy skills
CHS Climbing Club Min Age 16 Wesley Queen Every Tuesday 4:15-6:30 at Stone Summit Kennesaw   The purpose of the club is to cultivate student friendships through the sport of rock climbing
Coding Club ALL Carla Thornton Once a month   To further progress and teach members vital programming, critical thinking, and problem solving.
Creative Crafting Club ALL Lynette Okenica Wednesdays 3:30 - 4:30   Using recycled items and more, create crafts for donating to causes 
Diversity Club ALL Eric Jones Once Monthly 4-5   To take a stand against ignorance, prejudice, and hatred in a concentrated effort to educate and promote culture awareness, to provide resources and other supports to students and staff on multi-cultural issues in our school and community and to celebrate diversity through positive intentional activities.
Drama Club ALL Jodi Burns Monthly on Tuesday at 8:00    To introduce students to theatre and allow them to participate in theatre.

First Generation Club Students whose parents have not earned a high school diploma or a college degree Stefanie Raleigh & Linda Reyes Bi-monthly meetings will be held during homeroom    First Generation Club exists to inspire low-income and first-generation youth to achieve social and economic success by providing advice, encouragement, and support to obtain a college degree and/or find success in the workforce

French Club ALL Dr. Claire Bell & Souad Fullen Once a month in the am or pm   The primary goal of the French Club is to give students a chance to learn about the French culture and lifestyle. the membership of this club provides its constituency with ample opportunities to enjoy a genuine educational experience.

Warrior Ambassador Club ALL Lorri-Ann Brogdon TBD 2x/month; 1 before and 1 after   To strive to enrich the experience of CHS students and staff through promoting school spirit, voicing students' opinions, and providing leadership opportunities outside the class room 
Women in STEM Female Lori Pangburn & Amy Geer 2x/ month, every other week before school   Maintain and promote female participation in HS stem courses as well as provide support for women in college level STEM and future STEM careers
Youth Voice & Action ALL Tara Quinn-Schuldt & Michelle Collins Homeroom once per month   To provide an opportunity for student voice and actionable steps for positive change.
           

NEHS Book Drive

The National English Honor Society is running a book drive to give students at Knox, Liberty, and Hasty Elementary new and gently-used books. If you have any you would like to donate, please bring them to the school. There is a bin at the front door, or you can bring them to Mrs. Peterson in room 308. Book donations count for NHS and Alpha Gamma volunteer hours as well.
