April 10, 2025
Dear Graduating Senior and Parents:
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation. You have achieved a great milestone in your life, and we will celebrate and commemorate this occasion on Friday, May 23rd at 4pm. Our goal is to make the time between now and your high school graduation exciting and beneficial to you as you enjoy the last few weeks of high school with your teachers, friends, and fellow members of the Class of 2025. The ceremony will be held at:
First Baptist Church of Woodstock (FBCW)
11905 GA-92
Woodstock, GA 30188
In order to fully prepare for graduation and the events, which lead up to May 23rd, we ask that you carefully read both this letter and the Guidelines for Cherokee High School Graduation Practice and Ceremony. In addition, there is a Graduation Participation Form that must be completed. The link to submit this form is the last item located in the Guidelines for Cherokee High School Graduation and Ceremony. This must be completed no later than April 25th. You should be aware that the graduation ceremony is a privilege, not a right. Any senior who fails to abide by the established rules and guidelines will not be allowed to participate and will have their diploma mailed.
All seniors, including first semester graduates, are expected to attend all practice sessions in their entirety. Work schedules must be arranged to permit full attendance. Failure to attend practice will result in loss of participation privileges.
Thank you for your support as we work together to make the commencement of the Class of 2025 an event of honor and dignity for every graduate.
Mr. Andy Hall
Principal
