Greetings fellow Warriors,
I am happy to welcome everyone to an exciting new school year here at Cherokee High School, our first in our breathtaking new building. Cherokee High School is a special place, one where students, teachers, and community members all share a sense of pride and purpose. We are the oldest and largest high school in the district, and bringing the pride and tradition that has defined the Warrior Nation for over 70 years to our new home at 1500 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd is a special honor for me as the building leader.
Here at Cherokee, we stand committed to preparing students for the future, equipping them with knowledge and skills to make them successful after high school, and we take pride in working with all our students and their families to meet this challenge. This focus on being “future ready” will continue to permeate what we do at CHS, and we look forward to a wonderful year, one where all our students capitalize on the opportunity to learn, listen, and contribute to the impressive community of learners and leaders at CHS.
As we embark on this school year, I urge all our students and parents to get involved in any way you can; it’s the Warrior Way to contribute your efforts to make your community a better place. Our thriving, diverse community of learners strives for excellence at Cherokee High School, and our faculty and staff will be here every day, helping students make the most of every opportunity here at Cherokee High School.
